Rope Technician Course

Rope Technician Course - Our technical ropes courses meet the requirements for the nfpa 2500 standard at operations level (rro) and at the technician level (rrt) for technical rope incidents. There are three levels of certification available to interested rope access technicians. Nipsta’s rope rescue technician program is designed to exceed the requirements outlined by the illinois office of the state fire marshal osfm, and provides students with the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform basic rope rescue at the nfpa 1006 technician level. Our rescue courses adhere to the nfpa 1006/2500 job performance requirements in rope and confined space rescue. These courses cover rope rescue objectives as defined by nfpa 1670 and 1006. The illinois fire service institute's rope rescue program offers two levels of rope training. Students learn and practice such skills as: Nipsta’s rope rescue operations program is designed to exceed the requirements outlined by the illinois office of the state fire marshal osfm, and provides students with the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform basic rope rescue at the nfpa 1006 operations level. Level 1 basic rope rescue and level 2 advanced rope rescue techniques. Covers nfpa 1006 chapter 5 (rope rescue) operations and technician level skills.

At The Technician Level, Students Will Be Required To Build Rope Systems In A High Angle Rescue Environment That Includes An “Attendant” To Be Attached To The Rescue Load.

This course provides those operation’s rope rescuers more knowledge and skills necessary to safely and competently perform rescues using rope equipment and rope systems within the scope of nfpa 1006 2017 ed. There are three levels of certification available to interested rope access technicians. Course topics for level 1 include equipment selection, maintenance, and record keeping. Complex elevated or high angle rope rescue operations require advanced rope skills.

Rope Rescue Technician Iii Is An Advanced Rope Rescue Training For The Serious Professional.
