One is paul davids' the other is rick beato's. Bottom line, i think the course is well worth the $99 dollars if one is willing to study at a university level. This is probably the best you’d ever get. How has it helped you guys out with your guitar playing? Rick has a course named quick lessons which is also consisting of topics i'd be interested in, also at the moment it's less than half the price of paul's. Most of the truefire courses are advanced and assume you are an advanced guitar player. I love rick and his videos but the beato book is not worth it at all at least for me, a low intermediate bedroom guitarist.

Has anyone tried this course? I’m considering asking for his “ultimate bundle” around the holidays, which has music theory, guitar lessons and ear training. My question, then, if for those of you who have bought it, how good is it? I enjoy some of his videos but i find i can't listen to him for too long. Bottom line, i think the course is well worth the $99 dollars if one is willing to study at a university level. I wanted to get my ear back in shape so i recently shelled out hundreds of dollars on what i assumed would be the best bang for my buck. If rick sounds like he’s “jerking himself off to sound smart”, then odds are the person that thinks that needs find a more remedial music channel. Oh and a rewind button. He's Not All That Impressive To Me.

I’ve thought about buying it several times, esp when he had a bundle of all his stuff for super cheap… but after reading some reviews of it i figured there are better ways/values out there.
